| INTRODUCTION |
| THIS SPECIES IS VENOMOUS. Keeping venomous herps is not for the average herp keeper. When keeping venomous reptiles extreme care should be taken. If planning on keeping a venomous snake first keep an aggressive non-venomous snake such as a coachwhip. Working with the very fast and aggressive coachwhip will help prepare you for keeping these dangerous reptiles. Although the copperhead’s venom is mild compared to others it can still be deadly. It only takes one slip up.
